Guilderland Town Band

The Guilderland Town Band performs at the scenic Guilderland Performing Arts Center in beautiful Tawasentha Park.

Our regular performance series runs from late June to August each summer with concerts on Thursday evenings at 7:30. All concerts and parking are free to the public, regardless of whether you are a Guilderland resident or not.

The Town Band rehearses every Tuesday evening at 7:30 throughout the summer. Membership is by audition only. Go here to download our new membership application.  The 2010 rehearsal schedule can be accessed by members on the Calendar page

Kathleen Richards-Ehlinger
Conductor

Conductor Kathleen Richards-Ehlinger Ms. Ehlinger is a graduate of Guilderland Central High School. She completed her BS in Music Education at the Crane School of Music, State University of New York at Potsdam. Kathleen completed her graduate work and received her master's degree at George Mason University, Virginia. She is also a long standing member of the Guilderland Town Band, and served as a guest conductor during founding director Don Webster's tenure.

Donald E. Webster Music Scholarship

Congratulations to the winner of the 2010 Donald E. Webster Music Scholarship--Samantha Crouse. A senior at Guilderland High School, Samantha will perform Benedetto Marcello's "Concerto in C Minor for Oboe," accompanied by the Guilderland Town Band at the Young People's Concert on June 24.
